PLEASE HELP WITH MY NBA Fantasy TEAM!!!!!?

I need some advice as to who i should keep and who will just hurt me in the end. I am in a 10 team league. My team is as follows:

Who do you think will hurt me and who do you think i should pickup/drop?





Correy Maggette was JUST dropped as a FA.





Should i pick him up?


and if i should, who should i drop??





i was thinking GRANGER. but what do you guys think?

Don't drop granger!! He is thriving with Jackson and Harrington gone, and is now getting consistent minutes and points! You should also drop AK-47. I would pick up Jackson to replace him, as he is thriving in the GS offense, If you are in need of three-pointers, then pick up Smith. Definitely leave Hughes and Kaman in FA, and also Smith, if you don't need help in threes. I would definitely drop Kirilenko, because despite his great shot-blocking, he hasn't done much else this year.


If your league is like mine, you have PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C and then bench players. This is what your lineup should be:


PG-Wade


SG-Roy


G-Smith


SF-Granger


PF-West


F-T-Mac


C-Okafor


C-Bogut


BN-Jackson, Cassell, Williams, Boozer





I benched Boozer because he's injured, but when he returns, take out Bogut. you should try to trade MO Williams ASAP, because his production will drop with Redd returning. If needed, your subs should be Jackson, then Cassell, then Williams. Also, if you can't trade Williams, then drop him and pick up a good Forward, because you are weak at that position, with Boozer's injury. If needed, trade Boozer and Granger, for two solid Forwards. You should be able to get a good trade done with those two, as Boozer is good trade material, and Granger has been hot recently, since the trade with GS. Anyway, hope this helps!
Reply:Drop Boozer he's out...pick up Stephen Jackson, who's playing well w/anew team. Or you could go w/hughes who is playing well for a superstar team. Nene Hilario is probably a FA too. Magette had a DNP last night, so I would hesitate to jump on him. As far as AK his #'s are down but should increase w/Boozer out. By the looks of it steals and assists are the main thing lacking.

Reply:Last guy got it right. Don't drop Boozer and don't pick up Magette. Corey's in the total doghouse right now. Dunleavy held him inactive last night, fer cryin out loud.


Boozer's an impact big man. Put him on your bench like you would an injured star player.





You playin' roto or H2H? If the latter, keep or even trade AK47. If rotisserie, you still need the big men as long as Boozer's out. And, Andrei may pick it up whilst Carlos is ridin' pine. Kaman hasn't stepped it up this year, like everyone thought he would, but he's serviceable if you've already dropped Andrei.





The only other FA that I like on that list is J.R., and then only for his 3's. Jackson's a head case that'll get you some points, but not enough to win the category. Look to trade with other players before the deadline, rather than the waiver wire, if you're interested in reshaping yer team.

Reply:Granger is good and worth a roster spot but S Jackson is better. He has been doing very well for the Warriors. I would dump Granger and grab Jackson quickly. JR is losing more minutes every day and is only usefull for threes. Larry Hughes isn't having a good year and Kaman prety good but I wouldn't dump what you have for him. Leave Magette alone
Reply:dont listen to these people, dropping ak47 and you'll lose some rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. dropping boozer and some smart will pick him up. correy maggette was DROP because hes getting less playing time and have stop producing because livingston and mobley are getting more playing time. i would try to trade away tmac for good players like nash or areanas and add granger with tmac trades. good luck!
Reply:i would drop AK 47. he is killing my team as of right now....so let him go before he kills yours too. idk where his talent went... but i guess he forgot it this year. any of the free agents sound good. i would pick up maggette or kaman and drop kirilenko. nice team by the way.

In my opinion, the weakest link is AK. Obviously his stat is still horrible in this season even Boozer is out of injury.





Try your best to use AK to make some good trade. If not, drop it out immediately and add Stephen Jackson.





S. Jackson's stat is outstanding after trading to Golden State. He is really a hot pick from free agent now.





Granger is not bad, his stat is better than Maggette at least. I can't see any reason to take it for your team.





T Mac's stat is excellent after Yao's injury. However, Yao will be back to court after all - star game. For me, I will try to use T Mac to propose some trade. For example, trade for Kobe, A. Stodamaire or Marion.
Reply:never take maggette, he always seems to get hurt.never seems to play over 60 games..hughes, kamen and smith pass on them..not producing at last seasons avg..st jackson/granger the same player...kirilenko is a tradable guy..his #s are down but we all hope they will go up..5 of your top 6[sans ak47] are keepers also roy..not a bad lineup overall...
Reply:Besides AK and Granger, the rest of your team is quite strong. I would pick up maggette over granger as maggette puts up stronger stats overall and i believe has more playing time. I would keep an eye on cassell too seeing as earlier in the season he was on the back burner to livingstone and as the season goes on he might go back to the bench. The other FA are pretty much doing very poorly this season besides JR smith who is still putting up 3s (and only 3s) and Jackson who is inconsistent and only delivers points usually.
Reply:I like Maggette for Granger. That gives you a good SF instead of a half decent SF.
