What are your predictions for UFC 85?
u asking for what the card should be or the results if that was it
Reply:1. Hughes, but it depends on if Hughes's heart is still in it. Judging by his conversations when he was a coach on TUF, there is a good chance that Thiago wins because Hughes no longer wants to fight. That being the case, I think he wants Serra and may just put on a few good fights before retiring.

2. Bisping, I think Leben's moment in the sun is fading.

3. Swick.

4. Vera may win this one, due to his tempo and the fact the Wedum is a very slow starter.

5. Rivera

6. This is actually a really good fight, I give it to Marquardt.

7. Chonan

8. Tavares

9. Jess

10 Lambert

11. Antoni

12. James Irvin out of simple dislike for Rashad lol

13. Goulet.

My predicitions at least.
Reply:The fans win. Everytime there is a UFC fight. We all can't wait for the weekend.

We win.

Got it? Gooood!

Reply:This is the worst fight card ever. I can't believe it's a paid per view. It should be a Fight Night Live on Spike.

Chuck getting hurt screwed it up. The only reason I'd want to watch is to see Michael Bisping vs Chris Leben and to hope Evens gets freak KOed.
Reply:First off Top-to-Bottom this is a GREAT card. There isn't one huge fight, but a lot of quality.

13. Paul Kelly. This young fighter has the stamina and conditioning to be a great career with the UFC. Unanimous Decision.

12. James Irvin. What many consider will be a big upset. Evans cockyness is finally going to catch up with him in the form or a hard knock out. TKO 2nd round.

11. Antoni Hardonk. Not going to lie I don't know a thing about this Neil Wain and I know a lot about Hardonk. Sorry but I can't pick a guy I've never heard of. Submission 1st round.

10. Jason Lambert. Both are coming off of a lose. So their mental strength will really be tested. That being said, Lambert has more experience dealing what the MMA life can throw at you. KO 2nd round.

9. Jess Liudin. In a rematch from 03, Liudin will get the better of Taylor this time. They will probably feel each other out the majority of a really boring fight though. Unanimous Decision.

8. Thaigo Tavarez. His only lose is to Tyson Griffin and last time I checked Griffin is pretty good. Tavarez will knock Wiman to the ground and then probably get an arm bar or kimura. Submission in the 1st round.

7. Ryo Chonan. Chonan is much better than his record shows. He just unfortunately has had a lot of top fighters to go up against. Chonan knocked out Carneiro before and I think he'll do it again. KO 3rd round.

6. Nate Marquardt. Leites is a good fighter, but he hasn't beaten a top dog and I just don't see him starting with the completely under-rated Marquardt. Unanimous Decision.

5. Martin Kampmann. Like Marquardt, Kampmann is completely under-rated. And personally I don't think Jorge Rivera doesn't have the all around skill set that Kampmann does. TKO 3rd round.

4. Fabricio Werdum. I've heard that the winner of this fight gets a title shot. I think Werdum deserves a title shot if he wins (because the Heavyweight division is really weak) but Vera doesn't. Unanimous Decision.

3. Marcus Davis. This will be a battle between two very under-rated fighters. I think Davis has a better stamina and Swick will get winded in the third round. TKO 3rd round.

2. Chris Leben. So many think the Bisping is going to run through this division. Though he did look good against Charles McCarthy, keep in mind that Bispings greatest asset is striking... But so his Lebens. And I think Leben is better at it. KO 3rd round.

1. Matt Hughes. Many say he is done, he's too old, he can't do it any more... WRONG! Hughes is going to have something to prove and I say he comes in dominant. KO 1st round.
Reply:1. Thiago Alves - Going to be to quick and athletic for Hughes, I look for Hughes to go to sleep in this one

2. Michael Bisping - Looked to sharp and crisp in his last fight even though McCarthy used the punching bag defense

3. Mike Swick-He's hard to bet against, always shows up in shape and ready to go

4. Fabricio Werdum- BJJ is just too good for Vera, I know Vera is well rounded but if Werdum can get this down from the clinch Vera will be in trouble

5. Jorge Rivera-Jorge is just one of my old time favs and this one could go either way so I am picking my favorite

6. Nate Marquardt - Dude looked like a 205er in his last outing and in GREAT shape, Greg Jacklson will have him ready to go

7. Ryo Chonan - Again this one can go either way but Chonan is my favorite of the two

8. Thiago Tavares-Matt has looked improved but Tavres' subs will be too much

9. Jess Liaudin- This is a rematch that Liaudin will be ready for, he lost the first one by decision at Cage Rage. Since then I think Jess has improved and Taylor has lost his last two

10. Jason Lambert - Lamberts experience will be the deciding factor in this one

11. Neil Wain- Wain just like to knock people out, I think his record improves to 5-0 after this one

12. James Irvin -I am just actually hoping for this one. Rashad is a really good fighter jsut not one of my favorites, his wrestling may prove to be too much here, but the Sandman can put anyone out with one shot

13. Paul Kelly - Had an impressive debut, training with Bisping so I expect him to be really sharp and in shape
Reply:1. Thiago Alves via unanimous decision

2. Michael Bisping via rear naked choke

3. Marcus Davis via TKO referree stoppage due to strikes (fight of the night)

4. Brandon Vera via knockout

5. Martin Kampmann via submission armbar (submission of the night)

6. Nate Marquadt via unanimous decision

7. Roan Carneiro via rear naked choke

8. Thiago Tavarez via rear naked choke

9. Paul Taylor via TKO referree stoppage due to strikes

10. Jason Lambert via TKO referree stoppage due to strikes

11. Antoni Hardonk via knockout (knockout of the night)

12. Rashad Evans via unanimous decision

13. Paul Kelly via unanimous decision
Reply:1. Matt Hughes decision but Alves still has a good chance of getting the suprise KO victory.

2. Bisping will tko Leben in the 2nd round

3. Marcus Davis will knock out Mike Swick in the 1st round.

4. Fabricio Werdum will Submit Vera in the 2nd round

5. Martin Kampmann will KO Riveria in the 1st round.

6. This one is really hard to pick. Really hard. Most even match match of the night. I say Marquart but anything can happen.

7. Ryo Chonan unianimous decision.

8. Tavarez 2nd round submission

9. Paul Taylor 2nd round tko.

10. Dont care about the match but i will go with Luiz Cane because im not a fan of Lambert.

11. I never heard of wain so i cannot decide.

12. I say Rashad Evans unianimous Decision

13. Goulet 2nd round tko.
Reply:1) Hughes - Unless Alves can knock him out and keep the fight standing, I see Hughes taking him down and pounding out a decision.

2) Bisping - I think both of these fighters are overrated, but Bisping is more skilled than Leben. His strikes are more accurate and precise while Leben is a brawler who takes his fair share of shots as well as giving them out. I see Bisping winning by TKO.

3) Davis - Swick is quick and very skilled, but I've really been impressed with Davis' progression and improvement. This will be an exciting fight and I see Davis winning a decision.

4) Werdum - I see him taking Vera down and submitting him. I still think Vera is undersized for this division and would be better at light heavyweight.

5) Kampmann - Both of these guys are standup fighters. I just think Kampmann has some wicked muay thai and will decimate Rivera's leg with kicks making his brawling style less effective. Kampmann by tko.

6) Marquardt - I think this will be a very good fight. I see Marquardt winning a decision. He's still one of the top middleweights out there despite the loss to Silva.

7) Chonan - I like both of these fighters. Chonan is crazier though so I think he will win by submission. He must take the fight to the ground though because his standup isn't that great.

8) Tavarez - I don't think Wiman is all that great. Wrestling is his only strength and I don't see him being able to hold Tavarez down for 3 rounds to pound out the decision.

9) Taylor - I don't know either of these guys but I think I saw Taylor in a previous fight in England and he likes to bang.

10) Lambert - Very highly skilled even though he is a bit undersized for the division.

11) Hardonk - I don't know much about Wain, but I know Hardonk has some wicked standup. Hopefully he can keep it standing because he isn't that great on the ground.

12) Evans - I just think Evans will play this match safe and take Irvin to the ground and pound out the decision.

13) Goulet - After watching him in action in Montreal, this guy comes to fight. I see him winning against Kelly.
