Alfonso Soriano?

I was wondering i have Alfonso Soriano but i dont have good pitching really. I was going to try a trade with a guy with TONNNNS of great pitching such as Johan Santana, Josh Beckett, Billy Wagner, Chad Billingsly, Phil Hughes, Derek Lowe, Jeremy Guthrie. I was going to try and get his Vladimir Guerrero and Josh Beckett for Alfonso Soriano and ( fill name here ) . Im not sure who else on my team to trade to him. My team is as follows:

Brian McCann

James Loney

Brian Roberts

Aramis Ramirez

Jimmy Rollins

Alfonso Soriano

Vernon Wells

Juan Pierre

Jim Thome

Carlos Delgado

Frank Thomas

Scott Rolen

Rick Ankiel

PItching:

Dan Haren

Chris Young

Manny Corpas

Jason Isringhausen

Curt Schilling

Eric Gagne

Jon Lester.

Any other suggestions you guys have for me is well would be great. This is my first year doing fantasy baseball so i know i didnt draft great, but if you could help me out that would be tremendous. Thanks!

Alfonso Soriano?
I think you drafted a good team, but would probably drop Schilling since he's gonna miss atleast half the season. Even when, or if, he comes back, he won't be very effective.

Anyway, try Soriano and Young. Beckett is a little more valuable than Young because he'll win more games with Boston. But convince him that Soriano is better than Guerrero. That will even it out. Soriano will hit just as much or more HRs than Vlad and steal more bases. Soriano is a 40-40 threat. Can't say the same for Vlad.
Reply:Unless he's willing to give up Johan for Soriano, forget it. You will be able to find some rookie or sophomore studs come two or three weeks into the season. Just be patient.
Reply:Whatever you decide, remember that Soriano has a broken finger, which could hurt him through the entire season.
