Rate my fantasy baseball draft please?
The team is alright, but i think you are going to have trouble with homers, rbis, wins and saves. Your typical power hitters that you get at first base and the outfield are not giving you much in those catagories. Your starting pitching, besides smoltz, has a history of not getting a lot of wins (chris young had single digit wins last year, Gorz pitches for the Pirates). I see your team as a 6-7th place finisher with this type of draft, no offense meant. I did like how you started your draft with (assuming) Wright, Braun, Soriano, then Byrnes, but your middle rounds are what worried me and a lack of more than 2 relievers in a 10 team league is also worrysome. There has to be some relievers available still. Drop Volquez and Miller to get them.
Reply:It's excellent. My only suggestion is to pick up a third closer from waivers. Perhaps George Sherrill is available.
Reply:Not bad. I don't think much of Kemp, Byrnes, and Damon in the outfield. And I would see what I could get for Adam Jones. Your starting pitching looks good but could use another closer if one comes available in your league.
