I heard he is going to the Red Sox...
Problem is, I would have to drop somebody:
Torri Hunter
Victorino
Guerrero
Uggla
Markakis
Aramis Ramirez
JJ HArdy
Konerko
Adrian Gonzalez
Mike Young
Chris B Young
Saltalamacchia
Johan Santana
Isringhausen
Nathan
Francisco Cordero
Sheets DL
Accardo
Lincecum
Gallardo
Chuck James
Felix Hernandez
Phil Hughes DL
Pedro Martinez DL
Should I pick up Jermaine Dye?
Dye has been what Dye was suppose to be all season since the all-star break. You should definitely pick him up. Check his stats since the all star break.
Pedro hasn't done anything this season and don't expect much either. He wont be back till late August. You have plenty of pitching. Or you can drop Gallardo. He will be going back into the bullpen when Sheets comes back and he got racked by the Cards over the weekend. Plus his up coming starts are quite difficult as well.
Reply:nice team but i would drop nick markakis or phil huges because phil isnt gonna play much pedro is coming back soon. or u could drop victorino
Reply:Nah man. Keep your team status quo and you got it locked. Congrats on keeping informed (Lincecum, Gallardo, Saltamacchia, James) I see you were quick to the waiver wire and that has greatly improved your team. Good luck down the home stretch.
Reply:no
Reply:Victorino is hurt and on my team as well, so I picked Dye up to replace him in the lineup. If he does go to Boston, he wouldn't have an everyday spot in the lineup, so that would be no help to you. I would tell you to drop Salty, because even though he may be a starter now that he's in Texas he's not ready to be the star that he has the potential to be. I'm a huge Braves fan and I have seen him play every inning in the majors. Only problem is you don't have another catcher unless I missed somebody. If you don't have room for Phil Huges on the D.L. then drop him.....he won't have much success when he returns. Pedro will help you down the stretch....he comes back next month.
Reply:Take Dye and drop Pedro cuz Pedro is not going to play alot this season with the injury he has
