How would you rate my fantasy baseball team?
You have a great base to your team, in many picks that I like to call "sure picks", meaning they have proved themselves for more than 2 or 3 years, and you can almost know what you are going to get from them in the beginning of the year. Thos people, to me, on your team are....Nick Markakis, Torii Hunter, Alex Rodriguez, Hanley Ramirez, Chipper Jones, Brandon Webb, and Aaron Harang. Those are very good picks for a 12 team league. But after that, you have some risk picks, but the risks that you are taking arent as bad as many may think. Matt Cain is the biggest sleeper for SP in the MLB, because he can have no-hit stuff at times, and then be an average pitcher other times. This proves inconsistency, and what fixes inconsistency on young pitchers?...Maturing....Matt Cain is well on his way. Geovany Soto i think is one year away from making an impact, we have already seen what Jarrod Saltalamacchia can do, so I would pick him up to help out the up and down year that will most likely take place for the rookie Geovany Soto. Your OF are in perfect shape, because you have those sure picks, and then you have guys like Fukudome that if they have a breakout year, can fill some spots, and make you look like a genious, but if they fail, oh well, it wasnt an important pick, and you will have no regret dropping him. Your SP is very strong, you know what you will get from Webb, Harang is ready to break out, and Yovani Gallardo continues to improve. Javier Vasquez was an established pitcher in Arizona, but hasnt really picked up where he left off there since moving to the AL, look for this year to be that step back in the right direction, where all those K's finally translate into wins again for him...he wont be quite back to that same level, but better than the last couple of years.....

OVERALL 7.5 out of 10...your team shows promise, but there is a chance at your team falling apart down the stretch...
