Ok, i BUNCh of things have happened in the offseason, and to players stocks, so im really lost on my mock draft, and need some help. My main questions are, who are the lions and ravens interested in. I have Joe Thomas to the Lions, but rumor has it that if russell falls to them then they'll take russell. Reply:I've heard detroit is starting to lean towards Gaines Adams over Thomas. However I personally don't think they will be able to help themselves and they will take Calvin Johnson, and suffer the wrath of their fans. Millen is the dumbest GM in anysport but this move isn't as dumb as it looks. and It only looks dumb because they've taken recieves three out of the last four drafts with their #1 pick, but not one of those recievers has the talent or class Calvin Johnson has. Johnson is one of those RARE KINDS OF FREAK. so I think Millen being the idiot he is won't pick Johnson. even though he is truly the only Can't miss in the lottery. Peterson would be a can't miss but you have to wonder about his tendency to get injured.

I don't think Quinn or Russel will be studs. so I personally would stay away from either of them unless I was raiders because any QB is better then what they have. Thomas also is pretty close to a can't miss, but not quite.
Reply:Looks good. The Raiders are definitely taking C. Johnson #1.
Reply:I am a diehard raider fan and i think #1will be Russell
Reply:ive heard detroit wants to trade down very badly to get more picks. really, kitna is not bad, he threw for over 4000 yrds. joe thomas would be a smart decision but its not the so called "sexy" pick. i think they should go after adrian peterson because kevin jones will be out for a while.

i think if the browns had their choice of russell or quinn, they would take the homeboy quinn.

i like the idea you have of oakland taking johnson, i think theres a good possibility of that happening.

im a huge 49ers fan, from everything im hearing and reading, the 9ers are really locking in on patrick willis, the LB from ole miss. the 9ers staff coached him in the sr bowl and mike singletary (our LB coach) likes this kid a lot. he is arguably the best defensive player in the draft, better than carriker, okoye, and landry.

i think 15 is way too high for posluszny he is injury prone.

i think the titans take meachem over ginn, ginn in my mind is very overrated and is not the 2nd coming of devin hester.

some scouts say that jarvis moss is very physically weak, he has pass rushing skills but is weak.

ive also been hearing that daymeion hughes has been slipping like crazy,. possibly to the 3rd or 4th round because of his crappy combine scores.
Reply:Well, I think the Lions will take Thomas...........In the Ravens case, they'll probably take a outside linebacker, because of the Adalius Thomas trade to the Pats..........I don't think the Raiders will gamble on taking a WR as the first pick. As good as Calvin Johnson is, WR is a very risky position to take as a 1st pick. So I think the Raiders will take Russell, while Brady Quinn will be taken by the Browns. After all, Quinn said he was interested in playing with the Browns, his childhood team. But, I'm not an expert, so, that's just my opinion. Hope it works out........
Reply:Have a few opinions on your draft

#1- Lions should go after Brady Quinn or Russell (I doubt oakland will pass him up for a WR).. Kitna should be a 3rd stringer, rather than a starter. all the tools for a great offense, but he can't get them the ball.

#2- the Texans won't go RB they just signed Ahman Green and Ron Dayne. too many other positions need looked at 1st.

#3 .. The Bills will take Patrick Willis , a MLB from Miss. They need to solidify a depleted linebacking core with the loss of Fletcher and Spikes. That left them with Crowell and 2nd year Keith Ellison, with Coy Wire trying to learn the position. Other than that, the other teams seem reasonable.

#4 Ravens need O-line . as a Bills fan, McGahee loves to bounce to the outside and use his tramendous stiff arm, need some quick lineman to get out to the corner.

They should keep their eye on a replacement for Adalius Thomas and Ray Lewis, need to start grooming for those positions.
Reply:In order,

Peterson

Willis

Lynch

Nelson

Beason

Meachem

Houston

Ginn
