Should I just forget about steals completely?

Here is my team, rate it and let me know if you think I should just forget about steals.

Yahoo! 10 teams, 5X5 rotisserie.

1B - Mark Teixeira

2B - Robinson Cano

3B - Miguel Cabrera

SS - Miguel Tejada

OF - Manny Ramirez

OF - Nick Markakis

OF - Gary Sheffield

Ut - Adrian Gonzalez

The only guys with any kind of speed on my team are Shef and Markakis. Should I try to trade for steals by getting rid of some of my power, or just eat the catagory as a whole and hope my other catagories will make up.

Stick a fork in your team. It's done as it's currently configured. You may not finish last but first is out of the question. You would basically need 8-10 in every other category. The rest of your team isn't that dominant looking either. Try dumping Garko or Youkilis and see if Michael Bourn,Carlos Gomez, or Jerry Owens are available. They only help in SB but it's better than having those dime a dozen scrub 1B on your bench.
Reply:I would say dump steals.. you'll be good in every other category besides maybe runs and one or 2 guys wont help that much EVERY week
Reply:just eat the other catogories and hope others will make up
Reply:You probably should've drafted enough steals to keep your team out of dead last in that category. In order to win your league, I feel that it is best to try and fill every category. You should've drafted players that have power and speed.
